Rest Day, 1980
Yosemite Valley

Somebody give this guy something to eat… Big Wall climbing is hard on your body, you can never eat or drink enough to supply the resources required when climbing for 10 or 12 hours straight for days on end. Which is where the days after the climb come in. Although the Yosemite National Park concessionaire, who ran the hotel, restaurants and shops in Yosemite, hated the presence of climbers because they were scruffy and never spent much money, the company was more than happy to have us gorge ourselves in the restaurants for the few days after a Big Wall.
